1st Debate Tournament of 2012

It's been long since I posted about debate..

No, I haven't retired. YET. 

So after so long, I attended National Novice Debating Championship that is annually held in UiTM Shah Alam. 

Not to debate nor to adjudicate. But as an observer.

Miss Yati (our club advisor & our everything) called me up for a favor in order to help her observe the freshies in the club.

Tournament started on 23rd Feb. I had class in Melaka that day and drove up to Shah Alam as soon as class ended.

DISAPPOINTING.

First feeling that hit me once I arrived there.

WHY?

Seriously. Most of the participants are high schoolers.

okay, okay, serious serious!!

After all the waitings and delays, alas, the first round starts!!!

I watched Nickson, Azlan and Zaza going against a high school team.

Imust say, I salute their enthusiasm. 

They fear nothing despite that they have no idea that the case that they set could have eaten them up alive.

I couldn't attend the second day as I had to work..
wuuu... :(


Info received, they did not break, but it's okay. It's their first tournament after all :)
I just hope the tournament would not be taunting them and quit debate
(happens always)


But it's okay. I did meet few debate friends and we did catch up for a while.
